Bluephoria is the newest show from the infamous Blue Man Group and is running exclusively at The Venetian Hotel group is a wacky performance piece that has been described as “Visually stunning”, “wildly inventive” and according to the USA Today, “an absolutely ecstatic experience!” This is a show that is perfect for all ages. The inventive creativity of the trip is evident the moment one walks into the theater. There they we find the group painting huge drabs of paint to a percussion driven soundtrack. This small bit shows the group's belief that art can be created from nothing. The energy and playfulness demonstrated here, for example, the art of found in a marshmallow, pipes, a gumball, will certainly leave their imprint.

The highlight of the show is the music. By using pipes, "Blue Man Group" can control pitch and harmony. The use of both sticks and paddles creates more options. The result: endless rhythmic variations. And with a rocking band at their side, the Blue Men are more than a show - they're a phenomenon.

Created by Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink in New York in 1987, "Blue Man Group" has taken on a life of its own, and now resides in Boston and Chicago, as well as New York and Las Vegas, continuously playing to sold-out audience’s at all four venues. The group has won numerous awards and now has 60+ Blue Men and over 50 musicians.

The enigmatic show is also groundbreaking; looking to honor it, the Drama Desk committee (a group of journalists and theater critics whose Outer Critic Circle awards are the Golden Globes of the theater world) created a new "Unique Theatrical Production" category for "Blue Man Group", which was followed by "De La Guarda" and "Stomp."

Wacky, witty and wonderful, "Blue Man Group" has something for everyone. Ignore the occasional skeptic, you'll never find another show like it.
